I'm heavy into spring production right now but larger pieces like this are fun to make when there's kiln time. I'm hoping to have more time this summer to experiment with some new glass techniques & get the sandblaster set-up for some additional surface embellishment.

Glass & Copper
I have a whole line of glass & copper pieces that I wholesale: platters, trays, coasters, etc. but before the holidays I made a few large bowls. I mean BIG bowls. This one is 16 inches in diameter & about 5 inches deep. They are fabulous display pieces but are also functional for large salads or pasta.

This is a beautiful bowl. I love the size and the copper inclusions. It is always fun to see how copper changes when it's incased in glass.
